`CHANDINI` RETURNS IN SLUM ROLE IN ‘KHAIDI’

Perhaps the first one in Kannada cinema industry to obtain doctorate for studies is actress Chandini. After that is Jayamala on submitting a study paper obtained doctorate.

However the professor at Manipla University once, Sony Entertainment business head is now back to acting business of entertainment.

Dr Chandini of ‘A’ with Upendra, AK 47 with Shivarajakumar, Deepavali with Dr Vishnuvardhana and Ramesh Aravind, Love with Shivamani as hero returns after 12 years to Kannada cinema. She plays a slum girl while the protagonist is also a slum boy in ‘Khaidi’ Kannada cinema.

With Dr Vishnuvardhana ‘Khaidi’ running to packed houses after 30 years of release, this new ‘Khaidi’ in Gurudut, producer of Psycho as director went on the floors.

How an individual is ‘Khaidi’ at the hands of some social evils is the crux of this film. With a caption ‘System Error’ the film is also based on real life incident.

Two songs of the film will be shot in Europe. Justin and Uday are scoring five songs.

Smt Nayana and Kala are producers officially. One of the songs of Dr Vishnuvardhana film Thale Hoova Mogadinda….will be retuned and dedicated to legendary actor Dr Vishnuvardhana.
